The Russell's multi-story space, with its first floor bar and mezzanine-style second floor, with couches, easy chairs, lots of wood, Moroccan reds and Mediterranean sand colors. Large old-fashioned ground floor windows open to make the downstairs patio-like. "I want to make this home," says owner Hugh Russell. "I want to create a warm, cozy atmosphere."

Visitors say The Russell's interiors remind them of a cozy bar in Caribbean. Not one on the beach but one tucked away in an old hotel, cozy and enveloping. The world is out there, but in here, you needn't worry.
